4：30所罗门的智慧超过东方人和埃及人的一切智慧。
And　Solomon's　wisdom　excelled　the　wisdom　of　all　the　children　of　the　east　country；　and　all　the　wisdom　of　Egypt。
4：31他的智慧胜过万人，胜过以斯拉人以探，并玛曷的儿子希幔，甲各，达大的智慧。他的名声传扬在四围的列国。
For　he　was　wiser　than　all　men；　than　Ethan　the　Ezrahite；　and　Heman；　and　Chalcol；　and　Darda；　the　sons　of　Mahol：　and　his　fame　was　in　all　nations　round　about。
4：32他作箴言三千句，诗歌一千零五首。
And　he　spake　three　thousand　proverbs：　and　his　songs　were　a　thousand　and　five。
4：33他讲论草木，自黎巴嫩的香柏树直到墙上长的牛膝草，又讲论飞禽走兽，昆虫水族。
And　he　spake　of　trees；　from　the　cedar　tree　that　is　in　Lebanon　even　unto　the　hyssop　that　springeth　out　of　the　wall：　he　spake　also　of　beasts；　and　of　fowl；　and　of　creeping　things；　and　of　fishes。
4：34天下列王听见所罗门的智慧，就都差人来听他的智慧话。
And　there　came　of　all　people　to　hear　the　wisdom　of　Solomon；　from　all　kings　of　the　earth；　which　had　heard　of　his　wisdom。

5：1推罗王希兰，平素爱大卫。他听见以色列人膏所罗门，接续他父亲作王，就差遣臣仆来见他。
And　Hiram　king　of　Tyre　sent　his　servants　unto　Solomon；　for　he　had　heard　that　they　had　anointed　him　king　in　the　room　of　his　father：　for　Hiram　was　ever　a　lover　of　David。
5：2所罗门也差遣人去见希兰，说，
And　Solomon　sent　to　Hiram；　saying；
5：3你知道我父亲大卫因四围的争战，不能为耶和华他神的名建殿，直等到耶和华使仇敌都服在他脚下。
Thou　knowest　how　that　David　my　father　could　not　build　an　house　unto　the　name　of　the　LORD　his　God　for　the　wars　which　were　about　him　on　every　side；　until　the　LORD　put　them　under　the　soles　of　his　feet。
5：4现在耶和华我的神使我四围平安，没有仇敌，没有灾祸。
But　now　the　LORD　my　God　hath　given　me　rest　on　every　side；　so　that　there　is　neither　adversary　nor　evil　occurrent。
5：5我定意要为耶和华我神的名建殿，是照耶和华应许我父亲大卫的话说，我必使你儿子接续你坐你的位，他必为我的名建殿。
And；　behold；　I　purpose　to　build　an　house　unto　the　name　of　the　LORD　my　God；　as　the　LORD　spake　unto　David　my　father；　saying；　Thy　son；　whom　I　will　set　upon　thy　throne　in　thy　room；　he　shall　build　an　house　unto　my　name。
5：6所以求你吩咐你的仆人在黎巴嫩为我砍伐香柏木，我的仆人也必帮助他们，我必照你所定的，给你仆人的工价。因为你知道，在我们中间没有人像西顿人善于砍伐树木。”
Now　therefore　mand　thou　that　they　hew　me　cedar　trees　out　of　Lebanon；　and　my　servants　shall　be　with　thy　servants：　and　unto　thee　will　I　give　hire　for　thy　servants　according　to　all　that　thou　shalt　appoint：　for　thou　knowest　that　there　is　not　among　us　any　that　can　skill　to　hew　timber　like　unto　the　Sidonians。
5：7希兰听见所罗门的话，就甚喜悦，说，今日应当称颂耶和华。因他赐给大卫一个有智慧的儿子，治理这众多的民。
And　it　came　to　pass；　when　Hiram　heard　the　words　of　Solomon；　that　he　rejoiced　greatly；　and　said；　Blessed　be　the　LORD　this　day；　which　hath　given　unto　David　a　wise　son　over　this　great　people。
5：8希兰打发人去见所罗门，说，你差遣人向我所提的那事，我都听见了。论到香柏木和松木，我必照你的心愿而行。
And　Hiram　sent　to　Solomon；　saying；　I　have　considered　the　things　which　thou　sentest　to　me　for：　and　I　will　do　all　thy　desire　concerning　timber　of　cedar；　and　concerning　timber　of　fir。
5：9我的仆人必将这木料从黎巴嫩运到海里，扎成筏子，浮海运到你所指定我的地方，在那里拆开，你就可以收取，你也要成全我的心愿，将食物给我的家。
My　servants　shall　bring　them　down　from　Lebanon　unto　the　sea：　and　I　will　convey　them　by　sea　in　floats　unto　the　place　that　thou　shalt　appoint　me；　and　will　cause　them　to　be　discharged　there；　and　thou　shalt　receive　them：　and　thou　shalt　acplish　my　desire；　in　giving　food　for　my　household。
5：10于是希兰照着所罗门所要的，给他香柏木和松木。
So　Hiram　gave　Solomon　cedar　trees　and　fir　trees　according　to　all　his　desire。
5：11所罗门给希兰麦子二万歌珥，清油二十歌珥，作他家的食物。所罗门每年都是这样给希兰。
And　Solomon　gave　Hiram　twenty　thousand　measures　of　wheat　for　food　to　his　household；　and　twenty　measures　of　pure　oil：　thus　gave　Solomon　to　Hiram　year　by　year。
5：12耶和华照着所应许的赐智慧给所罗门。希兰与所罗门和好，彼此立约。
And　the　LORD　gave　Solomon　wisdom；　as　he　promised　him：　and　there　was　peace　between　Hiram　and　Solomon；　and　they　two　made　a　league　together。
5：13所罗门王从以色列人中挑取服苦的人共有三万，
And　king　Solomon　raised　a　levy　out　of　all　Israel；　and　the　levy　was　thirty　thousand　men。
5：14派他们轮流每月一万人上黎巴嫩去。一个月在黎巴嫩，两个月在家里。亚多尼兰掌管他们。
And　he　sent　them　to　Lebanon；　ten　thousand　a　month　by　courses：　a　month　they　were　in　Lebanon；　and　two　months　at　home：　and　Adoniram　was　over　the　levy。
5：15所罗门用七万扛抬的，八万在山上凿石头的。
And　Solomon　had　threescore　and　ten　thousand　that　bare　burdens；　and　fourscore　thousand　hewers　in　the　mountains；
5：16此外，所罗门用三千三百督工的，监管工人。
Beside　the　chief　of　Solomon's　officers　which　were　over　the　work；　three　thousand　and　three　hundred；　which　ruled　over　the　people　that　wrought　in　the　work。
5：17王下令，人就凿出又大又宝贵的石头来，用以立殿的根基。
And　the　king　manded；　and　they　brought　great　stones；　costly　stones；　and　hewed　stones；　to　lay　the　foundation　of　the　house。
5：18所罗门的匠人和希兰的匠人，并迦巴勒人，都将石头凿好，预备木料和石头建殿。
And　Solomon's　builders　and　Hiram's　builders　did　hew　them；　and　the　stonesquarers：　so　they　prepared　timber　and　stones　to　build　the　house。

6：1以色列人出埃及地后四百八十年，所罗门作以色列王第四年西弗月，就是二月，开工建造耶和华的殿。
And　it　came　to　pass　in　the　four　hundred　and　eightieth　year　after　the　children　of　Israel　were　e　out　of　the　land　of　Egypt；　in　the　fourth　year　of　Solomon's　reign　over　Israel；　in　the　month　Zif；　which　is　the　second　month；　that　he　began　to　build　the　house　of　the　LORD。
6：2所罗门王为耶和华所建的殿，长六十肘，宽二十肘，高三十肘。
And　the　house　which　king　Solomon　built　for　the　LORD；　the　length　thereof　was　threescore　cubits；　and　the　breadth　thereof　twenty　cubits；　and　the　height　thereof　thirty　cubits。
6：3殿前的廊子长二十肘，与殿的宽窄一样，阔十肘。
And　the　porch　before　the　temple　of　the　house；　twenty　cubits　was　the　length　thereof；　according　to　the　breadth　of　the　house；　and　ten　cubits　was　the　breadth　thereof　before　the　house。
6：4又为殿作了严紧的窗棂。
And　for　the　house　he　made　windows　of　narrow　lights。
6：5靠着殿墙，围着外殿内殿，造了三层旁屋。
And　against　the　wall　of　the　house　he　built　chambers　round　about；　against　the　walls　of　the　house　round　about；　both　of　the　temple　and　of　the　oracle：　and　he　made　chambers　round　about：
6：6下层宽五肘，中层宽六肘，上层宽七肘。殿外旁屋的梁木搁在殿墙坎上，免得插入殿墙。
The　nethermost　chamber　was　five　cubits　broad；　and　the　middle　was　six　cubits　broad；　and　the　third　was　seven　cubits　broad：　for　without　in　the　wall　of　the　house　he　made　narrowed　rests　round　about；　that　the　beams　should　not　be　fastened　in　the　walls　of　the　house。
6：7建殿是用山中凿成的石头。建殿的时候，槌子，斧子，和别样铁器的响声都没有听见。
And　the　house；　when　it　was　in　building；　was　built　of　stone　made　ready　before　it　was　brought　thither：　so　that　there　was　neither　hammer　nor　axe　nor　any　tool　of　iron　heard　in　the　house；　while　it　was　in　building。
6：8在殿右边当中的旁屋有门，门内有旋螺的楼梯，可以上到第二层，从第二层可以上到第三层。
The　door　for　the　middle　chamber　was　in　the　right　side　of　the　house：　and　they　went　up　with　winding　stairs　into　the　middle　chamber；　and　out　of　the　middle　into　the　third。
6：9所罗门建殿，安置香柏木的楝梁，又用香柏木板遮盖。
So　he　built　the　house；　and　finished　it；　and　covered　the　house　with　beams　and　boards　of　cedar。
6：10靠着殿所造的旁屋，每层高五肘，香柏木的楝梁搁在殿墙坎上。
And　then　he　built　chambers　against　all　the　house；　five　cubits　high：　and　they　rested　on　the　house　with　timber　of　cedar。
6：11耶和华的话临到所罗门说，
And　the　word　of　the　LORD　came　to　Solomon；　saying；
6：12论到你所建的这殿，你若遵行我的律例，谨守我的典章，遵从我的一切诫命，我必向你应验我所应许你父亲大卫的话。
Concerning　this　house　which　thou　art　in　building；　if　thou　wilt　walk　in　my　statutes；　and　execute　my　judgments；　and　keep　all　my　mandments　to　walk　in　them；　then　will　I　perform　my　word　with　thee；　which　I　spake　unto　David　thy　father：
6：13我必住在以色列人中间，并不丢弃我民以色列。
And　I　will　dwell　among　the　children　of　Israel；　and　will　not　forsake　my　people　Israel。
6：14所罗门建造殿宇。
So　Solomon　built　the　house；　and　finished　it。
6：15殿里面用香柏木板贴墙，从地到棚顶都用木板遮蔽，又用松木板铺地。
And　he　built　the　walls　of　the　house　within　with　boards　of　cedar；　both　the　floor　of　the　house；　and　the　walls　of　the　ceiling：　and　he　covered　them　on　the　inside　with　wood；　and　covered　the　floor　of　the　house　with　planks　of　fir。
6：16内殿，就是至圣所，长二十肘，从地到棚顶用香柏木板遮蔽（或作隔断）。
And　he　built　twenty　cubits　on　the　sides　of　the　house；　both　the　floor　and　the　walls　with　boards　of　cedar：　he　even　built　them　for　it　within；　even　for　the　oracle；　even　for　the　most　holy　place。
6：17内殿前的外殿，长四十肘。
And　the　house；　that　is；　the　temple　before　it；　was　forty　cubits　long。
6：18殿里一点石头都不显露，一概用香柏木遮蔽。上面刻着野瓜和初开的花。
And　the　cedar　of　the　house　within　was　carved　with　knops　and　open　flowers：　all　was　cedar；　there　was　no　stone　seen。
6：19殿里预备了内殿，好安放耶和华的约柜。
And　the　oracle　he　prepar
